Little Piece of Heaven tells the moving story of Maria da Graça, a hardworking mother in the Pedacinho do Céu favela, who sacrifices to support her son Pedro’s education as he anxiously awaits his university exam results. The film explores themes of resilience and the power of a mother’s love against the backdrop of the challenges they face.

The film has won several awards, including Best Film at the BIFF (USA), Best Film at Mostra Curta Retiro (RJ), and multiple Best Actress awards for Léa Garcia, including at TP Cine 2018 (MG) and Curta Canedo 2017 (GO). It has been selected for numerous prestigious festivals such as the VI Pachuca Film Fest (Mexico), Short Film Corner (France), and San Gio Verona Film Festival (Italy), among others.

Little Fish

Little Fish tells the poignant story of Cauã, a young boy in rural Brazil, who visits an abandoned train station every morning, hoping to find his father among the other rural workers returning from the farms. The film delves into themes of longing, family, and the search for connection in an emotionally rich narrative.

The film has been recognized at several prestigious festivals, including a nomination for Best Screenplay at the Festival de Cinema de Santo Ângelo. It won First Place for Best Short Film at the 2nd Festival de Curtas da Cidade Jundiaí and was selected for notable festivals such as Curta Cinema RJ and CineMAM Rio de Janeiro.

In an effort to escape, he decides to abandon his dreams, but finds himself trapped within his own imagination, forced to face his fears and choose between erasing his past or embracing what he truly loves.
